REFLECTION
With today’s technology we are connected 24/7 whether we like it or not. The amount of communication and connection available is basically immeasurable. So what is the best way to stay on top of the most current fashion promotions and how the industry is using social media to market products and services? It’s my philosophy to embrace it! By immersing ourselves in the middle of things, students learn through action and participation. Students experience fashion promotion first-hand, through incorporating the use of smartphones, tablets, and laptops in the classroom. We apply theoretical knowledge to practical industry situations and also have weekly “Spotlights” on key social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, and more.
